A/C outlet not redirecting air

I have a 1994 Camry that I just acquired from my mother. It used to be my dad's car until he passed in June of last year. The car spent all of its life in south Florida, and I drove it up to Maryland this winter. The A/C and heater both work OK in that it blows cold and hot air when requested, but I can't direct air to the feet, defroster, etc. It only comes out the main dash vents no matter how the switch is set.

I have downloaded the Camry PDFs and checked out the switch and servomotor. The servomotor seems to be OK. Although I could hear it operate, I disassembled the dash enough to see it move from position to position whenever I change switch settings. I have to wonder, if the servomotor seems to be working, why doesn't air get redirected? I'm basically trying to get the defroster to work (something that was never an issue in Florida).

the little gate inside of what the servo is turning is probably disconected.

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to check it out... when it gets warm enough to work on my car, that is. I'll suffer with the lack of defrost for now.

On most vehicles, when the air is not re-directed to the defrost, floor, etc. it's usually the vacuum check valve that needs to be replaced.

Not sure if your Toyota has one, might want to check with your Toyota dealer parts department.
