3rd Generation removing the needle

How would I remove the needles from the guages.?I tried all the diy on google and here but I just can't get it off. Is there a trick or something.

u dont take them off, if your putting on new faces, you work them on around the needles, pulling on the needles is supposed to be bad...

if your putting new faces on they will work around them, its tricky and might take a little work but it will make it, i think on some you might have to unscrew the needle stops but not the needles..
