Hey guys....so yea i came across this forum at E46fanatics, would these projectors work for a retro fit for a Gen 3 or Gen 3.5? Im thinking about going to the DEPO clears for Gen 3 and doing a custom grill so it will look clean on a Gen 3.5. But if i get Clears, i want to put in projectors. here is the link, experts let me know if they will work :-)
u could proll get them to work but riggin that whole housing would be tough. why not buy Joe's(eyeball96) projector headlights, u remember the ones on my coupe...hes about to throw them on ebay and he was sellin them for alot cheaper then a retrofit man.

i remember them, but its been a while, does he have pics? how much does he want?
just get some acura tsx projectors and retro those in with ballast and so forth. Clean and good light output.
are the TSX ones easier to do? or is it the same? i mean, the price of these BMW ones are $100...that sounds pretty good to me...but idk much about this stuff
i know everyone is recommending otherwise, but id strongly advise these^.
the retrofit is not an easy process, and ud have to buy the blank headlights, projectors, and HIDs if ur gonna go that route or go bi xenons. ud then prolly be wise to test rig a spare light to make sure u dont screw up the new lights u jsut bought. the ones joe is selling are made for the 9006 bulb so u just need to install then and plug in the lights. if u ever feel like hids then u just have to get 9006 based bulbs with the kit.
