ok quick question.... if i remove the secondary catalynic converter and just leave main cat and res in... will it make my flowmaster 40 series sound better? i want it louder but not raspy or tin sounding..... what u think? hsould i do it?
it probably will make it a little louder. but...does SC have emissions checks? cant remember if they do or not. if not then ud still have to get a false O2 so the car doesnt drop a code and put the car in limp mode.
i forget the name(stang guys call them MILiminators) of it but its basically an o2 sensor that sends the ecu a correct signal to prevent any codes. i believe there is a way to wire in a resistor that will do the same thing.
myrtly beach, no shit. i went to coastal for a year and my mom lives in charleston.
i come down quite a bit but its usually to charleston...though when i do i always drive to MB to go eat at carolina road house...GOD, i love their ribs.
i might just do what venom said to do. its a good idea and no i dont have emmisions checks in SC so i might just do it. now just to find who sells a high flow cat for a gen 3 o.0 and maybe and aftermarket res 0.o ive already got larger pipeing i forgot what the width is but it made my undercarage pipeing from \/\/\/- ( < what exhaust piping looked like before) to
/\/------ ( < now) lol bad pics but hey what can i say? i tryed! lol! but anyways with went from the curvy stock pipe , they cut it right down the middle and added a straight pipe to the flow master....
