anyone done this before?? got an invader hood a few minor things... some spider web in diff areas... and its a bit rough ( i guess i can cut polish that part) but anyone tried or knows how to fix a CF hood? and rid me of these lil spider cracks?? and if anyone knows how to make it shiny that would be sweet.. thnx..
yeah i got stuff like that too man. My body shop said the best they could do was sand it down and see if some epoxy injected in and new clear would cover it all up. I have yet to bother.
By the by, my bro sees you everytime he goes up to vancouver now...

are u talking about the clear coat or the CF itself? clear coat is easy compared to attempting to fix the CF.
CF reapirs alot like fiberglass, depending waht the damage is, sand it down, then u cover the area with carbon fiber cloth and resin/epoxy. then sand it smooth. finally hit it again with clear coat. here are a place ive found that offer some tips.

cant wait for summer and drive it down for a nice cruise meet with u down there... and maybe with some pstoc guys as well...
i think the best thing so far is paint over the hood... i might just go with airbrushin... hope it works out... and hides most of it... prev owner of the hood didnt take too good of a care of it... but i got a good deal nonetheless thats why i picked it up...
rdizzle.. hopefully in the summer i can come down for a meet... snowy northwest freakin sux...

I say you get a sweet airbrush and no one will even notice the carbon damage. That would look nice.
