2001 Solara Swap problems

Thanks for reading my thread. This is my first post on this board and is a result of having some issues with a 2001 Solara. The car was a 5sfe automatic that spun its rod bearings. I swapped in a "JDM 3sfe" that was bought from eaby:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

I modified the rear mount to facilitate the swap and swapped all components off the original USDM motor (cam pos sensor, camshaft sprocket, intake, coil packs, exhaust, etc, etc). The car cranked right up but misfires at idle (rough running).

Has a slight stumble on acceleration as well which seems to be due to the misfire. It seems to be running very rich judging by the rich smelling blue smoke coming from the exhaust as well as the fact the plugs will be coated black after any amount of running. I have swapped plugs/wires/coil packs, checked every ground strap and sensor. There is no check engine lights. I seafoamed the intake to clear any carbon build-up.

I was very careful when I swapped the USDM cam sprocket to get the timing set dead nuts on. I checked that the cam and crank TDC marks were aligned perfectly and rotated several time. Checked compression and it is the same across the board. I am a professional mechanic and this is a customer's car and I have run out of option. I was hoping maybe some of you guys on this forum were familiar with the swap from the 2.2 to the 2.0 and if there were any common hangups that I cannot seem to sniff out. Thanks for taking the time to read this post and hopefully someone can help.
