3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
This is my first post on the forum. I have a gold 1996 camry and I'm looking to get some new rims. I was thinking hyperblack 18s, but I'm not sure if that would be a good choice with the gold. I was looking at these two. What do you all think?
They are both very nice choices, but I like the bottom one more because it has a dual lug pattern (5x113.4 & 5x100) and it's a good name brand. So if you ever decide to sell the Camry, you have a greater chance of keeping your rims in the future. I have Voxx 215 series in gunmetal 17's looks good. But black will not look good on a gold/tan car try silver or bronze.

I have a gold camry as well, and the black stock steelies looked alright with my black tint. The gunmetal enkei's also had a chrome lip so there would be contrast between the wheel and the tire. Silver also seems like it would fit.
WheelsNext is pretty good about ordering.. I got a set of enkies for my corolla and they came in 4 days... no hassel.. plus I think they give a pretty good insurance option.... as for what rims to get I have a gold 95 camry and through trail and error I would say the first set of rims you have but not in hyper black.... If you have a Les Shawb in the area they can send out the rims to be powered coated with almost any color you would like and its only about $65 a rim.. I don't know what your budget is but I would say pick the top set and get them coated to your liking....
