Mirror differnce between 97 and 98

What is the difference between the 97 side mirrors and the 98 side mirrors? The reason I ask is because on ebay I noticed the you can buy M3 style mirrors for the 98-01 Camrys. But none of them say anything about the 97s. Im probably not going to gey the M3s but I dont want to buy a replacement mirror off a 98-01 that wont fit on my 97.

I'm not aware of any differences other than the inside door handle. It could be a typo, but I can't say that for certain.

The only differences in OEM gen4 mirrors are whether the car is Japan built/Kentucky built or if it's heated or not heated.

It's just a misprint on the advertiser's part.

After looking up some part numbers on napaonline.com, the part numbers are the same for 97 and 01 so it might be a typo. Either that or the Gen 4 wasn't released until 1998 in some places and they are going by 98 because of that.

On the 1997, the inside front passenger door handle is shaped different and the PDL and PW switches trade places compared to all other years.
