Gen 3 brake noise and air cond problem

Hi everyone,

I just have a couple of questions regarding the Camry I have.
Its a 2.2lt 5 speed. Ive had it about 3 weeks so there are all these new noises for me to diagnose

Firstly, with the air cond, I thought this was working ok, although I went for a 1 and a half hour drive today, and after about 1 hour, the air conditioning barley cooled the air. The car was then parked up for a couple of hours and same thing, about an hour later, the air was *just* cool.

Does it sound as though the air conditioner gas needs to be refilled?

Also, lately, when braking medium-hard, there is like a "whoop, whoop, whoop" noise. Just from a visual inspection, the pads still seem to good and the brake pedal does not pulsate at all.

Any ideas? Thanks

you will need a fill up on the r 134 in the ac,you can get fill ups at local parts stor and do it yourself, and the noise to me from what ive seen the noise is from the rear,(if you have drums)shave the edges of the rear shoes top and bottom and sand the inner bart of the drum,of better yet replace them, trust me when i say get the oe shoes if you want no noise the drums jobber are fine, but make shur they arent warpped as ive seen many jobber come new in box warpped, vibration when brakeing will comferm this,or drive slow and use hand brake to stop.you will fell a pulse in the brake lever and/or hear a noise(when using hand brake like this(very low speed 5 km)your using just your rear brakes)
