USA Rattling noise at Timing Belt

I started the car this morning. After a few minutes, a rattle noise comes out from the Timing Belt area non-stop. When I look there, I saw the belt has some oil on it and see a bit of white smoke comes out from that area. Also, I saw some oil on the floor. I searched the forum and it seems to point to T-belt tensioner, but I couldn't find anyone that also saw smoke. Anyone has idea of what else could be the problem? Thanks.

time for a timing belt, and water pump at least, plus sealing what is leaking, possibly cam's/crank seals...have to get in there to find out!

time for a timing belt change and to get that seal fixed...if it's enough to smoke and drip, then it's pretty bad. and hte noise will most likely be the pulley

I would say that one of the camshaft seals is leaking since it'll then drip along the block and create smoke.

I doubt that it's caused by the tenioner since if the tensioner went bad , the belt will be loose and the timing would also be off for sure

You are right. Water pump seal was leaked badly. Rattling noise came from the T-belt being loose and snapped into half yesterday morning. So, replaced t-belt, water pump, and serpentine belts at the same time. Thanks...
