Speed source shifter bushings

Anyone ever used these on there camry or solara? I've got a 99 v6 and thinking about the shifter base bushing kit and the shifter cable bushing kit. Looks like they should work on my car but just confirming. I've used similiar setups on my dsm and it did help shifting feel immensely.

http://www.speed-source.net/ They're the first two items you can choose from.

takes a while to get used to, but is a great mod that puts you in touch with your car

I have them on the solara, makes a big difference... same as king says, changes the feel a bit. You just have to be really precise with your shifts, but its nice.

are you referring to the different SS/brass bushings available?

if you are, it is because toyota made two sizes of shifter bushings..."regular" sized and "big" sized.

I don't remember which one the camry ones were, but I think they were big size. You should be able to find out the measurements of the big size. I remember the description of the big sized bushings told you how to distinguish between the two by measuring your stock bushing sizes

You need the Toyota big version for the Camrys, or atleast for the '99 v6 E153, not positive for other linkage/trans.

I bought the normal one first, good thing I also have a Paseo.

The big kit comes with one normal sized Toyota bushing, and one much larger sized bushing.

Just take a look at what you have. If one is noticeably larger than the other, you need the big kit.

They are well worth the money!
