3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I've been meaning to post pics of my "new" '93 GEN3 3VZ-FE powered LE since I got it, but just havn't gotten a chance. I've had it for about a month now and it has been doing very good. It has almost 280,000km on the clock. The timing belt was done 100,000km ago, so its about that time.
So far I've changed :
Plugs - NGK Iridium
Cap and rotor
Air filter - K&N drop in
Fuel Filter
Oil and filter
Tranny fluid and filter
Battery terminals
Sylvainia Silverstars - 9005's modified to fit the 9006 low beam
...and some other things I cant think of right now
To be done soon :
Timing Belt, Pulleys, Water Pump and Seals
Tint
and a drop when its time for a new suspension
I've been into Toyotas for a while now. Mostly the 70's era...Celica's mostly. I bought this car as my daily driver, haul the kid to the babysitter, grocery getter to replace my black GEN2 Camry that I recently wrecked.
Here are the pics...the blue car is my TE31 Rolla :

I like the lights, they are really white in person, but look yellow in the pic for some reason. The light on the road is really white as well.

don't take offense, because it has nothing to do with you, but i HATE you screename with a burning passion that rivals the surface temperature of the sun.
On topic though, nice car!

Nice, fellow Vancouverite! I can give any help I can if you ever need any. I doubt you would though since you seem to be quite knowledgable about cars.
You live in Richmond?
*shameless advert* do you want anything in terms of mods? I have IS rims and a whiteline swaybar that I don't need anymore.
I wasn't really looking for anything, but who knows...i'll keep them in mind. What are you asking for the rims? And the swaybar?

Oh, those houses looked kind of Richmond-ish.
I picked up the rims for $600, and the sway for $150 new. I put less than 2000km on the sway before I had to sell my Camry.
I'll let you have them for $600 everything if you ever are interested. IS rims are hard to find... and they are hot lol, had them on for 8 months, it turns heads haha. I'll even deliver it
EDIT: Oh and the IS rims have tires on them, Bridgestone Potenza RE-92. Absolutely crazy when warmed up in dry summer weather.
