The LOWEST GEN 3 CaM has just been into a 4 car accident...
Story-time....
Early this morning (1/29/08) at 9am. Your fellow GEN 3 CaM owner was on his way to school. For those that live around the Southern California area, I was on the 405 Fwy right by the GoldenWest exit in Huntington Beach. Traffic was pretty moderate, not too heavy. At about 40 mph, the car in front of my starts to brake, so i started to brake as well, nothing serious. We were right next to the carpool lane. So once we both reach a complete stop all i hear a second later are nothing by loud tire skids. Next thing you know... BOOM! I get rear ended. SOB!!! Mother Fugger!!!
Here's what i believe had happened....
the car in front braked normally, and so did I. There was a Mercedes Benz right behind me, but i guess when we started braking, he changed lanes to the right last minute. Therefore, the car behind him, which was a RSX probably seen that i was at a complete stop, so in other words... he didn't brake in time. On top of that, the car behind the RSX rear ended him too.
You guys won't believe what car I rear ended after the RSX pushed me into it. It was brand spankin' new! No plates on it either. Geez! Sad for the dude i hit cause of the stupid RSX. Here's what i hit...
yeah... here are some pics of my car. it's really hard to see how bad the damage really is because of the poor lighting.
if its a fault state, he has to pay for his front end and the damages to the guy in front of him
insurance says its his fault for hitting the guy in front of him because he stopped too close, which is true .... legally, youre supposed to leave enough room so that if you get rear-ended, you have space to slide forward
