how do i install a cone filter onto a stock intake? i tried taking out the air flow meter so i could put in the cone filter but it makes the car shut down after a few seconds and if i take off the box that connects to the stock CAI and the meter theres no way to install the filter, any pointers? i kinda made a thread about this before but i didnt really know what the meter was and mistaken it for a sensor
Are you saying that you removed your air flow sensor and put a filter there instead? Please tell me that I'm tired and read that wrong. You should be able to remove the stock airbox from the pipe and then clamp the cone filter to the end of the pipe after the sensor.
Dude are you being serious? You aren't removing the pipe connected to the sensor, you are removing the stock airbox and connecting the filter to that...

yeah, i know i put it back and its working fine, what im saying is how am i going to connect the filter to the sensor since the connection from the sensor to the airbox is square.
The Camry is a car that I can rip out someone's pride, stab it, beat it, and completely bash their egos, and it's so ridiculous that the person comes back with a hysterical laugh... ROFL They got trainlengthed by a Camry that in their mind, was a 18 sec car.
Do you have to reconnect the sensor, when i got my injen cai i couldnt connect the sensor back and now my check engine light is on as a result. However i might not be referring to the same sensor im not sure.
hmm.. not sure but MAYBE their might be an adapter plate for it?

i've seen them done on i4s mostly because their airbox that connects to the air flow meter is round(?) and im not sure if ive seen one done in a v6 before but i'd be great if someone who has done this could show me
