'92 LE (i4, 5spd) acting weird, keeps unlocking.

It has power door locks (but not keyloss entry) and it keeps unlocking it self. I was going to dissconnect the negative terminal, but its too cold out side and I'm living on campus at school, so I cleared out anything valuable in the car. Anyone have any idea's as to what this could be?

I'm guessing its obviously electrical, but where do I start looking?

The doors will not lock if it thinks that the ignition key is still in the ignition lock.

Try some lock deicer in the ignition lock

What do you mean that it does not have keyless entry?
Do you not have the remote keypad?
Or are you positive that the car does not have the wireless unlock feature?
Usually, these cars have the wireless unlock feature, even if you don't have a programmed keypad in your possession. There is a wire ... somewhere in the steering column area under the dash... which might be rubbing against the chassis frame metal someplace. ... This is all that would be required ... grounding out that unlock activation wire .... Not sure, but you might be able to identify the wire, and slide a protective plastic cable ... up under the dash ....and stop the unintentional unlocking.
