Projectors, HID, headlights oh my!

So I couldn't find anything definitive about Projector setups. Having what I assume is a 3.5 Gen (1995), I can't find anything already made for me in terms of headlights, aside from dead stock.
I'd like to get an improvement (not that what I have isn't nice, it's sure a step up from my Tercel's 6054's!) and just doing some drop-in HID is definitely out of the question.
So, I am faced with this- how can I make a Projector setup? Being Halogen, or HID? I've read that you have to mangle your factory assembly. How so? Whats involved? What do I have to grab up at a junker or elsewhere?
I'm assuming it's wise to either convert the low or high beam to the Projector, but not both?
How would you align the projector assembly inside the housing?

Can there be found Gen 3.5 headlamps (factory style or no) with glass covers? I much prefer glass to poly. I don't like the whole fogging thing that happens. Inside and out.

How do you take the cover off without harming the housing, internals, or cover? Someone said something about an oven at 200 degrees for a half hour. If that is correct, what if the glue is too nasty to re-adhere after a second heating? What kind of glue would you need to re-apply?
I ask not only for the Camry, but I also have another Tercel with Composite 9004 POS nasties. I need to pull it apart and polish the reflector.

Thanks guys and gals.

And I'm looking for what?
Projector headlight sets for MK4's, MK5's it looks like.
And then a bunch of drop-in cheapo's. Pricey flashy well-advertised cheapo's.

Can MK4's be made to fit? I'm confused why you referred me there...?

this is the method i'm going to be using on my 2nd retro.

http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35064

if you plan on doing this yourself it's a lot of work but well worth it when you get that clean oem look to it. If your headlight shares lo/high with the same bulb you might have to go bixenon.

check out hidplanet.com for for info.
