3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
What do you guys think you next car will be, to replace the Camry? I know many of you won't be getting rid of your Camry anytime soon, so just throw out something that you think is a possibility.
Right now, I'm considering two cars... an '02 IS300 5spd or an '02 S2000 6spd. The IS300 is more practical, but I have to say I'm leaning more towards the S2000. Only time will tell...
for me, it all depends, if it were soon, id say either a solara 5 speed so i could swap all my parts on it, cuz im lazy . or more likely a WRX. though my ultimate goal and no just a stupid dream either is MKIV(and only MKIV) supra. best car ever made as far as im concerned.
the 96 is my beater right now, after i graduate (hopefully end of summer 09) get a job... ill drop and put some rims on the 07 and help my parents pay that car off
after that get a car i want... GS or s2k or g35 sedan or somethin lol
i wanna make my 96 fast one day so ill be keepin this car forever
it was my parents FIRST brand new car and i was in 2nd grade when we got it... so i think thats pretty cool
It sure won't be one of the troubled Gen6. It is hard to go from a near perfect car to one with countless TSB!! JUNK THEY ARE.
Who knows how much longer my 95 will last. It still runs and drives like the day I purchased it new. I just returned from a trip to Key West from NC and back without a problem. I love the Florida Turnpike...you can let it roll.
I will more than likely get a G35.

Along with everyone else I long for an IS300. My plan is graduate college in 2010, get a good engineering job and get the IS300 as a DD. Then slowly built up my Camry until it reaches legendary status, at least that's what my dream is.
