won't start!

I have a 92 camry with the 2.2. It has 101k. I gave it a tune up no less than 3 months ago. Well, she won't start now. The other night while stoped at a light, the idle droped very low, and when the light turned green I pushed on the gas and it stalled. Now the next day and it will not start! It cranks all day, it seems to be getting fuel, and spark. So now I'm at a lose. Any Ideas? I need help!

are you sure its getting fuel and spark, cuz if its cranking right and getting the other 2 correctly then it would start. i point my finger at fuel. but what all did u replace or clean in this tuneup? how does or how did it run after stalling?

You might want to search for threads on the emission or EGR system. In my particular case, I have similar symptoms (car starts, but engine dies from low idle) so I'm going to try replacing the IAC valve.

Just got it back from the shop. It was the distributer modual! I have heard this was not unusual. True?

The modual probably included the distributor body, coil, rotor, cap and wires. It is quite likely that one of these was indeed the culprit. The coil comes to mind quickest. Possibly another case of guessing which part rather than testing. Though sometimes the time to test is more expensive than the part. If it was from Toyota it probably ran $300 - $400.
