93 Jerks when gas is pressed

I have a 1993 camry and whenever the gas is near low or the last block on low whenever i press the gas for accelleration the car jerks like its starving for gas, but if i press the pedal extremely slowly it will accelerate, could it be the fuel pump? any advice could help, thank you!

that should be normal,my brothers ES300 does same thing. and the pump IS starving if your on empty. press gas hard = fuel rush to back of tank, interrupt fuel pickup on pump.

Its because the little gas that is in there is sloshing around and going away from the pump at times. Its not good to run your tank that low. The pump will start to pick up all the crap at the bottom of your tank.

Resolution:

GET SOME GAS!
