3rd Generation 94 Camry XLE V6 Car squealing

Power steering is squealing when the car is started for the first time in the morning. Case gets worse with the outside temp lower. Wife says the car has had limited movement on occasion when pulling into a parking spot. I am pretty sure its power steering related just want a sequence rundown of what to check and what order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

your serpentine belt is likely slipping. I don't think the '94 has a belt tensioner, so you can try to tighten up the belt a bit with the tension adjustment bolt at the alternator mount. I believe you need to loosen the alternator mount bolts to do this. Consult a Haynes manual. You may want to consider replacing the belt also if it is fairly old.

The power steering belt is a separate v-belt. Not the same one as the serpentine alternator belt.

The easiest way to tighten the power steering belt is to jack up the car, remove the passenger side wheel, and get under there with a pry bar and ratchet using them with the adjustment on the power steering pump.
