does anybody know what the 3V and 4V marking is for on the cam pulley on a 92 v6

The only thing I can think of is that the 3VZ-E in the Toyota SUV's would have probably used the 3v mark, as that engine is SOHC, and the 3VZ-FE is a 24v DOHC V6. That's interesting though...

Yes it is interesting. Has anybody tried using it on the 4v mark and notice any diff? Maybe the 4v gives better performance, that'll be nice.

If you did that, wouldn't the cam simply be out of time meaning the valves opening at the wrong time ? therefore it would seem that it would run like crap instead of better.
