'94 sedan wheel question

I recently inherited a '94 4 cyl sedan with the stock 14 inch steel wheels. The tires are pretty much shot and I'm looking to replace them. Locally there is a set of 5 wheels and tires off a Solara (no year given). The tire size is 205-60-15. They are just outside the recommended 3% larger size but are quite a bit wider than the stock 195-70-14s. I was wondering if anyone else is using this set-up and if I could expect problems with rubbing. I'm a new guy here and will probably be spending alot of time till get the car the way I want it. Thanks in advance for any help .

I've looked through all the DIY stuff but I can only find info on tire diameter. The ones I'm looking at are slightly above the max recommended up-size of 3%. I'm more worried about the width. I seem to recall reading somewhere here that Solara tires will work on my car but, for the life of me, I can't find that post now. Anyone with any experience with Solara tires and wheels on a Gen 3 sedan?

thoes wheels and tires will be fine. alot of camry models came with that exact size, msotly just the V6, but some 4cyl models as well. 15" wheels with 205/60/15s.

I assume they are 1st gen Solara wheels.

Do you mean 205/60R16? That's the tire size that came with 16" Solara wheels like these. 205/60R15s would be almost right on in terms of diameter.

1st gen Solaras also came with 15s. Those came with 205/65R15 tires on these wheels

Tom. You are correct...I meant 205/60/16 and they are exactly like the first picture you posted. It looks like the general concensus is that they'll fit so I'll be picking up a set of 5 this weekend. Thanks to everyone for all your help.

your speedo will be out by 3.79% if you went ahead with the swap. that's if the original tyre size you quoted is correct. the sticker on mine says 185/75 R14.

the tyres themselves won't rub, i don't think. i have 215's on one of mine. (17's)
