'93 V-6 Won't start one day then starts the next

About 3 weeks ago my '93 Camry V-6 with 179k cranked fine but wouldn't start. I went out the next day and it started right up. It was probably started and driven at least 10 or more times since then until about 3 days ago when it again cranked over and over but would not start. I again went out the next day and it started right up. It has started up at least 4 or 5 times since then. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

you have to touch and caress her softly. Everyone knows how important foreplay is to the ladies. I touch My Scepter's nono zone ever so gently each morning before i ask her to carry me to work.

Intermittents like that are often caused by a coil problem. Next time it fails to start check for spark. Is there any common factor such as rainy or very damp weather? You might also pull the distributor cap and look for oil seepage.

3rd Generation

If a car doesn't start, then most of the time it either doesn't get fuel or spark. Next time it doesn't start, pull the spark plugs, ground their body on the engine, have someone cranck the car, and look for sparks. Also, try to smell fuel in the plug holes (cylinders). If spark or fuel is missing, you will know where to start.
