What is the purpose of this so called system called Evap?? Also, in english, please...

From the manual EG1-145
The Fuel Evaporative Emission Control system (EVAP) reduces evaporative HC.

From the manual EG1-149
To reduce NC emissions evaporated fuel from the fuel tank is routed through the charcoal canister to the intake manifold for combustion in the cylinders.

Don't know if it is NC or HC (or both?) but the manual refers to both.

It must be HC as hydrocarbon. I think NC is a typo.

To prevent gasoline vapors from escaping the fuel tank it is sealed. An external charcoal canister is connected by hoses to the fuel tank and controlled by a valve system. The canister absorbs gas vapors when the car is parked. Once the engine is running, the valve system routes the vapors from the canister to the engine to burn.
