99 camry exhaust

hey guys i have a couple of questions. im planning to get the obx headers for my car (4cyl) and i was wondering what kind of exhaust i should go for? any tips? or if i retain the stock muffler will it fit? if not what kind of modifications would be recommended. thanks for the help guys

The stock muffler will fit regardless of what header you put on there.

welcome to TN...or welcome back, i see you joined in 06

to really get the effect ud prolly want to get a slightly larger piping say 2.25". also a highflow cat woudl help too. but with more flow ya may see a slights loss in low end power and a gain higher up in the rpm range. but if ya waned to ya could jsut slap the headers on there and leave everything else stock.

Get a resonator too cause it's gonna be raspy with the headers

Theres an OBX exhaust set up for the v6 gen 4s on ebay.

^ There's OBX headers for V6 gen4s ? I've searched on ebay and so far I only found the headers for 4 cylinder Camrys.

any sound clips of these headers? i have decided to go with a full 2.25 piping to the muffler for this setup. and recommendations for the muffler. its probably gonna have to be a universal fit muffler.

im looking at a apexi ws2, tanabe hyper medalion, tanabe racing medalion, greddy evo2, or just any universal fits for my 2.25 piping muffler

Magnaflows are good too, they come in different styles as well. Are you looking for an oval or canister type?

i vote maganaflow if you are gonna roll with headers.
