Unhappy Fuse help, please!

I was trying to replace my dome light bulb. I pulled out the old light and put the new one in and it didn't work.

My power locks also stopped working at the same time.

What do I do about this, look at the fuses? If so, where are the fuses for each part (dome light and power locks)?

I'd really appreciate it!

Update

The dome light fuse is clearly blown, so that's no problem anymore because I'll just replace that.

My problem now is the power locks. The fuse is NOT blown. And, the power locks only work when the engine or battery is turned on. They do NOT work when the car is off. Any advice on this??

Which year/engine do you have? How many miles on your car?

There was a post recently describing a partial/intermittent working power main relay...
Do your power windows work .... engine off?
Possibility that the PMR is the problem ... maybe tap it a few times, maybe get a replacement from the salvage yard to confirm that this is the problem...
One or two other possibilities...such as the Door Lock Control Relay ...
You might also check the 10A Gauge Fuse, and the 30A Power Fuse, but chances are they are ok...
A frequently mentioned problem with door locks has to do with related wires within the door hinge area breaking due to usage/vibration and fatigue...Though that may not be what is going on here.
Anything else that you might describe as part of the problem?

I havea 1999/4 cylinder engine with about 150K miles.Do my PW work with the engine off? No...I didn't know any did.

The locks work FINE when the car is turned on, but don't work at all when the car is off. That's pretty much as detailed as it gets. I checked the fuse and it is fine.

Here is my suggestion .... switch out the tail light relay with the power relay...They are both located behind the coin tray to the left of the steering column...under the dash. If the problem is fixed, then get a new relay to replace the one that is defective.

Try this and see if it works ... or what happens... They should be the same part.

... I was asking if the PWs worked with the key in the accessory position.
