hi everybody, im new to the nation. i really need some answers about my gen 3 camry v6 le. my car has a bad idle after the car is warmed up. the rpm guage starts to drop down and go back up repeatedly shaking at the same time. but when its at high excelerating, it runs really smooth. it starts to act up when it comes to a stop or when i put it on park. can someone please help me with the problem? thank you for your time.
Does your engine have a distributor? ...The description you give fits with burned distributor cap electrodes...If you have a distributor, try replacing the cap and rotor.
What is the condition of your plug wires ....ever been replaced? Sparkplugs lately?

well i tried your guys advice and it did not work, but thank you so much for your advice. i wanted to try something else, so i called my friend with the same camry and i took off his maf sensor from his car and put it on mines and it turned out that the idle went really smooth. so what i think happend was when i went to get the smog done, that dumbass was messing with my maf sensor to make it pass smog. now i need to go get another maf sensor from the junkyard, and i also need to look for vaccume leak because the idle was a lil to low. thank you guys again for all your help.

You might try cleaning the MAF ... If it is not actually broken .... think there is a heated wire element... Then it could be that some sort of dust or debris has somehow interfered with the air flow around the heated element...Not actually sure how the thing goes together though.
