96 gen3 back end lift needed

I have a 96 Camry with 80K miles, it's in very good condition, quiet, comfortable and all that.

The trunk is big enough for dive gear, kayak stuff, etc but the rear springs are too short. Yeah, the're probably sagged but stock springs won't be much better. What I need are taller and stiffer springs, not too tall or too stiff but enough so I can carry dive tanks, weights and all that fun stuff. As it is the trailer hitch bottoms a lot.

Avalons are heavier so their springs might work.

Any ideas here? Advice, comments?

Thanks

seriously? never though I'd see anyone recommend that they work? I would consider buying some new springs that can take the load you carry on your trunk

you could either look for gen3 SE springs whuch are taller and have a higher spring rate or look into aftermarkets like eibachs, but aftermarket springs will lower the car too.

i always used airshocks on older car i wanted to lift the back, not sure if they make air sturts or not, you could always go with an air bag setup, costa pretty penny but it will hold that thing up as high (or low) as you want it
