3rd Generation Is my tranmission gone?

1994 camry LE 4cy 162K
Yesterday was working fine today when I go to drive away from the parking lot shakes alot and has no power...then I noticed my O/D light is blinking.
I have come to the conclusion that It's not going into 1st gear or 3rd...

Ok so I just went and poured like a quart and a half of ATF thru the dipstick,
now im noticing it still wont come off the line in first, but if i give it very little throttle and am going very slowly it will downshift into first and then shift into all the other gears normally, how does the transmission know to go into first gear when it is stopped?
the OD light is blinking anymore.

You can get the trans codes by turning the ign sw. on (not started) and the O/D sw on. Use a jumper wire to short E1 and TE1 on the OBD. Count the blinks on the O/D light. Suspect you'll see 6 blinks followed by 2 or 3 blinks. 62 = defective #1 solenoid and 63 = the #2. I can tell you one means of cleaning/testing the solenoids if needed.
