Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
they're expensive..wat kind of car u got? wat kind of seats are those?
I have a 95 5 speed Coupe (2.2L). The seats for sale are regular Camry seats from a LE, but in excellent condition. I thought that is was a bit too much as well.
glad i saw this thread so i don't have to start a new one.
just got my camry working again after 3 years of sitting still. started it today for the first time after a week or two of work put into it. my driver side leather seat is all cracked up from the sun. the back and passenger side aren't that bad. the driver side is motorized. how much do these usually go for, and is there a place online where i can see about purchasing one. orrr would y'all recommend just redoing the leather myself?
Not sure how much it will cost to redo them, but I am still looking on Craig's List to see if someone local is selling. So far I have seen prices from $300 - $500 which is over my $200 budget.
I ordered new Leather for my 96 coupe. I paid $830 bucks. I ordered two tune and full leather seating...U can get it for less tho. The hard part was finding company that still had the coupe pattern!...Here's a link to the where I bought mine!

My leather seats were badly cracked form the sun and had a couple tears, but in good shape other wise. I decided to redo mine and used http://www.advleather.com/
It cost me $200.00 and a weekend to do both front and rear complete. Just follow the step by step procedure. I am very satisfied and everyone that has got into the car thinks I just bought new seats for it! If more people are interested, I may do a complete write up.

My house is full of leather and all my vehicles have it so I did allot of research before I settled on http://www.advleather.com/ . They actually have you send in a small piece of your leather and some photos. They will makeup a custom kit to fit your requirements and match you color perfectly. Let me do some looking around for my before pics and I'll get some after taken and do a write up and post is the detailing forum. Unfortunately, I didnt get any pics as I was working on it.
