97 Camry - Gen 4- 70k miles auto

I just bought this car and would like to know how to get the most MPG out of my 4 cylinder automatic

My first tank was mostly city and I got 24 mpg

My second tank was 30% hwy and 70% city and i got 22 mpg - !

I am on my third tank right now

I would think i would be getting around 25-30 mpg with this 4 cylinder. What do you guys suggest i do to get better MPG?

I plan on doing:
wires, plugs, running BG44k and maybe replace the o2 sensors?

Keep in mind i have 70k miles
thanks

Assuming you read the thread on improving gas mileage, that included both Gen3 and Gen4. Gen3 has the rotor/distributor/etc., and Gen4 doesn't. Replacing the spark plugs and wires can help, though.

Not sure you're going to get better than that. Keep up with oil changes, air filter changes, keep the tire PSI near the tire max or about 5 PSI over Toyota's recommended pressure. Easy on the gas (no jack-rabbit starts at lights), use cruise control (under 70 mph). Don't use AC etc etc.
