4th Generation two part question

hi everyone, i'm new to Toyota Nation forums and i have a few questions for you guys. as you may have read in a post i responded to, i just recently became the frequent driver of my dad's 2001 Camry CE. i'm loving it more and more every day i commute to school and work.

as with any car that's great to drive i wanna find ways to make it even better. first of which (well second if you count the fact that i already replaced the stock air filter with a K&N; i'm still saving up for a CAI) i would like to find a better muffler or cat back for the car. primarily i'm after better gas mileage, but honestly i'm probably going to end up turning to the performance side of things, rather than the gas saver.

now for my second question: i ordered a new headlight assembly in the style i like and i want to find some xenon hid bulbs for it. any recommendations or experiences you can help me with? (links to websites with them would be helpful)
Also the headlight assembly has the halo rings, is it true that you have to run a seperate set of wiring for that? i'm currently in a basic electric class at lincoln technical institute so this would be a good exercise for me to work on wiring it all, but somehow i always lose something when i read the instructions and mess something up...although i usually find someone to fix my mistake hahaha.

anyway any help or advice is most appreciated.

don't get HID bulbs.. thats cheaper than shit. LOL If you're really on a budget- just grab a cheap ass HID. I've seen some on eBay for $50 shipped; tho i can't vouch for them- i will guarantee that they'll be helluva lot better than HID bulbs if you get them working. Good luck.

mr2erdave, none of those names ring a bell, but i'm still only in my second class (basic electric) i've had Tynan for intro and Buckley for basic electric so far. i'm going to the one in mahwah, is that what you are thinking of? cuz there's one in union too.

any ideas on the exhaust?

thanks for the responses.
