can they be safe? yes.

are they safe? no.

it really depends on the application and fitment. some people who use spacers with built in studs have had their wheels come loose and fall off before O_O

^^ LOL. you crazy ass- would you really run a 15mm spacer on original studs?

5mm MAX on original studs.

10mm-15mm you'll need 45" studs.

it can be safe if done right- meaning don't cut corners on what connects your wheels to your car. LOL. goodluck.

I've been running 5mm spacers on original studs for about a year with no problems.

Bolt pattern is OK, if offset is too great (5 mm seems OK), then get longer studs. If you are not concerned, make sure that you can torque the nuts to approx 70 ft-lb and no threads on the stud are deformed.

Could you count how many turns of nut before it is finger tight? the thread is a 1.5mm pitch, or 1.5 mm per turn.

with a 15mm difference, you are losing 10 threads of 'grip' on each fastner.

Search IS rims and camry, I believe the PN is also available in those threads.

Usually if you buy the H&R or ichiban spacers, they come with the extended studs. I have 10mm ichiban spacers on my car and they came with longer studs. They are hubcentric too.
