its totally custom and i really like the idea... but my question is is theis possible on a gen 3 camry ? cause it looks fairly easy to do and a weekend job for sumthin fun to do i plan on making my car not only a clean looking show car but also have power so noone start throwin out the whole rice flaming crap cause u have ur beliefs and i have mine.... now if someone does know how to make a custom gen 3 flipflop trunk tell me how! i think it would look sick cause im upgrading my trunk set up soon and would love to have the flipflop trunk to set it off HELP!
I think they make kits for those. I wouldn't be surprised if you can find one on Ebay
they do but its a rip off, ive done it before on my old car and my freinds civic, its cheap parts from home depot. 2 hinges, and 2 gate type locks, or if you dont wanna lock it into place you can just use the hinges
hmmm its just i took a quick look at the trunk but ill take a better one tomarrow.. but is it just strictly bolt off? cause if so this wont b hard at all!
The idea of a flip-flop trunk kit is pretty cool. I understand it is a bit played out....like Lambo doors, but hey. For those into "showing" their car: the spoiler will sit at a cool angle (instead of 90 degrees toward the back window), a custom license plate can still be displayed, as can cusom work to the rear of the trunk lid.
I say go for it, and have fun!

Thanks and honaslty for just a couple bucks to be done i think it would be pretty cool and something new for me to play with till i get the real money in to fully start workin on my car... i dont have the stock wing.. im not a wing person really... lol Stock one is ok i guess but nah im good but yea lol
i still cant see how that got "cool". i mean i can see if it stayed level while opening but if you have to open it THEN lower the trunk...wtf. it doesnt even make it easier to get anything in the trunk and i saw the outside of the trunk lid while it was closed!
