What's the average consumption on your Gen3?

Drove down from JHB to BFN the past weekend. (around 400km = 250 miles)

46.81 / 5.874 = 7.96l/100km
(7.96l/100km = 29.5 MPG)

I know it's only a 2L I4 compared to the '09 Camry (28MPG) which is a 3.5L V6, but for a 12 year old car doing around 160km/h (around 100 mph) all the way... not too bad.

Yip. Though I have to admit: Most of the way from JHB to BFN is downhill, so there were a few times that I could take my foot of the accelerator and keep the speed.

When I'm at school and my dad commutes the car, he can get 30 mpg easy. When I'm home long enough to empty a tank, however... 23 mpg :P

Damn, I can do 85mph at just a hair over 3k rpm (5sfe/auto). I can do over 110mph at 4k. Maybe your overdrive isn't working?

Only getting 25 MPG with my '92 I4 auto. But that's mixed and I drive (well, let's just say not too many people care to ride with me).
