Canada Outside mirror removal

Anyone help with how to remove the trim on the inside? Where do you pry first so you don't break the plastic

I pry on the edge nearest the window. If u break it let me know. I have plenty of em!

It has 3 pronges on the back of it...its really ez to get off, they rarely break on the attempt. Use a flat head screw driver or ur fingers to get under the edge.

UR right easied it off mostly at the bottom
Now I am reattaching the broken screw mounts for the shell Somebody
leaned on it & broke them . Used crazy glue to line up the broken "stubs" & then an a epoxy built up for strength . Looks like I will have reasonable chance of it looking OK & being strong enough
