Canada Gen 4 interior burnt up

Hi Guys,

I bought another camry , this time a 97, Gen 4.

Overall the car is liveable minus the burnt interior. Previous owner has smoked and burnt the seats, drivers door panel among other areas.

Question:

1) Has anyone change / repaired the fabric on the door panels ?

2) Are they good replacement seat covers you would recommend ?

3) Or where could i source used parts for the above ?

Interior is Brown.

btw, for some weird reason the badges are in gold - was that a factory option? Look's too blingy for me.

Thank you

yea the gold was a factory option (i just debadged mine of every ting but the sombreros...repainted black )

seems every 97 was tan with tan interior, so everything should be easy to find at a junk yard...

Yeah definitely the most common. Not all have tan interior though.

I'm a bit curious to know if the door panel upholstry can be changed as well. I'm in the process of replacing my seat upholstry (with OEM original "skins" -- seat covers never look right) and it's an absolute pain. If you can find a set of good seats nearby you that haven't been exposed to the weather and muddy people in a junkyard, you're best off grabbing the whole thing rather than just the upholstry.

Thanx for the reply.

The center badge on the trunk, does that have a flat surface when it's debadged or is it have the shape of the logo ?

Anyone know of good junk yards near Toronto.

Any help , will be greatly appreciated

this is a free search service for used parts. Lots of information and did I say that it is FREE!!! Scroll down on the parts list and you can purchase a complete interior so it all matches.

well its flat under the emblem, however since everything around it isnt flat it stand out like a thore thumb with 2 holes in it...since i am not ready to do body work and paint i just sanded down the factory goldies and painted them, put them back on with double sided emblem tape i got at walmart...
