Installing Tweeter + Speaker with amp

I have a camry 2001 LE. I currently have a HU(RCA for front/rear no Sub out) and rear speakers installed.

I want to hook up the front component speakers and sub w/ my amp and i have a couple questions.
1. The original camry wire is mounted w/ the tweeter, would i just unplug the tweeter wire from the HU and hide the original tweeter in the door panel?
2. After i drag the speaker wires from the amp, does the HU's speaker wire have anymore use(the one connected to the wire harness)? Since the HU=>RCA cables=> AMP=> Crossover=>Tweeter/Speakers. Do i simply disconnect them from my HU so the HU doesnt send signals to them?
3. What size subwoofer wire should i use for a 300rms subwoofer and a 200 rms amp? 8 gauge?
4. Also i read that most people recommend ground wires that are less than 18 inches. The Amp kit i bought is 3 feet. Is it okay to use the 3 ft as is? or should i cut it?

Once you put the amp in, you probably only need half of those wres on the wiring harness because 8 of them are speaker leads. You can just disconnect the tweeter from a connection in the door. YOu can leave the tweeter in that panel or put your aftermarket tweeters in there.

None of the speaker leads in the factory wiring harness will be used one you put in the amp since you're now using the aftermarket speaker wire also. I just put electrical tape and heatshrink on the speaker leads coming out of the HU so I don't accidentally short them somehow. The speaker wires in the factory harness were thus no longer active.

The new tweeter and woofer will be connected to the crossover as you've already figured out.

For the speaker wire from the amp to the sub, 10 AWG or 12 AWG. There is no need to run 8 AWG if you have the amp and sub in the trunk. 8 AWG is way overkill.

3 ft for the ground wire is fine. Just make sure you ground it good.

I'm not sure of the specs of your amps but I would say run at least 4 AWG since you have two amps.

Even though i dont need the speaker wire from the HU anymore, they still work right?

My HU only has 4 RCA cables for front/rear speakers.
I will use the front RCA=>amp=>front speakers.
I will use the Back RCA=>amp=>Subwoofer.

Now can i still use the HU's rear speaker wire to power my rear speakers still?

Yes, you can use the internal amp for the rear speakers. That's how my setup is at the moment. Except for the subwoofer part.

Just make sure the front wires don't touch anything. You can easily destroy the internal amp. Even though there are RCAs connected the amp is still generally active.

Oh okay thanks, I was under the impression that if i used the RCA cables, then i wouldnt be able to use the original wiring from the HU at the same time.
