96 camry won't start

Hi

The car is a 96 automatic 4 cyl with 122k miles. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor about a month ago. Ran fine.
I put in reverse glo gauges the other day. With the instrument cluster out I backed the car up and around fine for better light. Got the cluster back in and turned the key to check gauges but didn't try to start it. Gauges worked fine. Buttonend everything up.
Next morning tried to start the car and it just cranked. It has fuel, pump is working (haven't checked pressure because of no tool), checked relays and fuses. All good.
The car will start and run if you spray cleaner in the Tb. It will start right away and run 2-3 seconds. Twice the car has been started by holding the pedal all the way to the floor and cranking it a good bit......10-15 seconds. It poped/backfired a little then ran fine for 15 mins till I turned it off. I revved it up during that time and let it idel. Both fine. It reatarted fine 2-3 times right after that. Tried again in the morning after sitting all night and nothing.
I pulled the plugs and they were dry.....a tad whiteish...but good.
Not sure where to go from here. Any help will be appreciated.....

Oh I don't think the dash has anything to do with it, just needed to add that in the small chance that it might.

hmmmm...no bites yet? I tried testing the plug for an injector. I used a reguler test light. I got pwr on one side with the key on and nothing on the other. Cranking the motor...can't remember if they both lit up or not but I do know the one that was lit did did not blink.

If it tries to start with cleaner it is an indication that your electrical system is OK and that you have a fuel problem. Since it starts with the cleaner it must not be flooded so I would focus on lack of fuel. It could be the ECM not allowing enough fuel or you may have a restriction or low fuel pressure.

I can't envision how messing with the dash lights would affect the fuel system. Is there any chance that you dislodged a wire to the ECM? Don't know what year model you have. It could be something to do with the cold start sequence.

Its a 96 4cyl. I didn't think it was the dash either, and today took it back out and re checked everything. Did that because I am about out of ideas. I think its A) not getting told to fire injectors or B) no fuel to the injector. But what would cause A I am not sure. I guess I need a fuel pressure gauge to check B.

Thanks

Oh I will check the wires for the ecm in the morning.
