There is a creaking sound that comes from the front right wheel area when I turn my steering wheel while at a stop or moving very slowly, like when I am turning the wheel to pull out of a parking space. I have replaced the strut, strut mount, and strut bearing. What is the next most likely cause? Lower ball joint maybe?

I don't think this is it but I get a squeak from the inside of the car from the steering mechansim rubbing against the plastic cowling. I'm pretty sure that it is obvious that the noise is coming from the inside of the car, but just in case it isn't, I thought that I'd mention it.

Could be the CV joint.
