my cars idle

i have a 95 camry xle v6.

when i first start it in the day itll rev up to about 2. and then when i put it in reverse it goes to 1, and thats it.

but when i drive somewhere, turn it off, and do what i went to do and come back and drive it, it will only rev up to 1.

is this a problem? how come its doing this?

The engine has a coolant temp sensor that adjusts the idle higher if the engine coolant is cold, as in setting overnight.

Sounds normal to me. Seems like the engine is already warmed up so there's no need for it to rev up to 2K RPM when you start it up the second time.
