Adjusting K-sport Coilovers Height

OK, how do you adjust K-sport coilovers correctly for ride height. The shop I had installed it, told me to use the wrench to raise the car height. On the other hand Venom told me to unbolt the coilovers from the hub and change the height of the coilovers.

The reason I ask is because I had the shop adjust the height and then I starting hearing knocking noises from the suspension when I went over bumps after it was raised. I had them lower the car just a little bit and then noise went away.

The technician told me me when the springs compressed over bumps they were hitting each other and making the noises.

Can anyone help me adjust the height properly?

You adjust it from the hub, not the preloaded coil.....

Don't mean to threadjack but how do you adjust the camber? I bought mine used and the RR one has more - camber then the other 3.

you can set it down below and up above

+ you may have noticed that the top strut bolt (of the two down below) has an oval hole ... so you can pull the assembly forward or backward ... this is a type of camber adjustment
+ you can also take an allen wrench to the 4 little top nuts, then slide the entire top mount around (the orange plate stays still, the coilover assembly will slide along the railings) ...

of course, you have to do this with the left and right side off the ground (front or back, depending on what youre working on) ... and messing with the lower seat may mess up your alignment (not just the camber setting, but caster and toe could be messed up a little bit)

you dont have to unbolt it you idiots. You have the top two locked where the spring is, than you loosen the third one below, and you turn the whole assembly to lower it.

its quicker to move the lower seat than to unscrew everything, turn the strut cartridges, and then bring the spring seat back up and lock all the nuts again
