Reseal coupe window DIY?

This is for 95 Coupe. Today I take my car to car wash and my friend scream when we are in the machine "water coming in..." I was like ...

I look back and see water coming from the rear quarter window...

I look at the window outside and see the window stuck out...

Can this be DIY, if so, what kind of sealant I need or should I better bring the car out to window specialist. Thanks!

you're better off taking it to a window specialist, as the window will have to be removed, the old sealant removed, and then the window installed

if you want to try it yourself, you can try it- use 3M Window weld. But it's really tough to use, because it's polyurethane and really really stiff....you'll most likely need a powered caulking gun, or something along those lines, because it will just break a regular caulking gun

I had a front window replaced once and the tech probably scratched the paint when he removed the window (they use a wire). A year later the rust finally came around the edge of the window and in three years it was a huge problem. Reassure yourself that the folks you select are conscientious and will take care of any problems while they have your car (even if it takes longer). Take the car in for repair soonest if you ever do see rust around that (or any other) window while it is still repairable.
