Thank You Unco,

I did a search For:Infinity Reference 6022i
JBL GTO627

On Google and ebay.... and what is STRANGE is there is a 2 way and a 3 way JBL GTO627

And Both the Infinity and JBL's when shown in a BOX they are 4 ohms..... BUT when the seller lists the ad and it does NOT show a box.... most of the time they are listed as 2 OHMs

So now I am even more confused.....

The lower impedance will result in more power going to the speaker but the amp must be able to handle that extra power otherwise you end up destroying the amp.

the infinity reference one that you listed was strange...it lists as 2ohm, but in the infinity description, they call them true 4ohms...?

as for the jbl stuff...you may want to double check them, as I run the jbl power series stuff and they're all 4ohms

as for he ohms difference- the lower the ohm, the more power it can usually handle and the more effective the amp running it usually will be (most amps put out their highest rms at 2ohms, including 4 channel amps), but the higher the ohm, the cleaner the signal- that's why speakers are usually 4ohm and up, with 8ohm ones being top quality, and subs being 2ohms or even close to 1 ohm

The JBL series you want is called "GTO", not anything else.

They ARE 2 Ohm impedance speakers. I have a whole set in my LTD.
