00' Camry i4 - 60k Maintenance Questions

I made a post roughly 5 months ago asking for DIY information on 53k maintenance. It just needed all the main fluids flushed out. However, I just never got around to doing it.

Due to lack of free time, I decided to just take the car to a trusted mechanic. Besides my car hit 59k and my rotors were warped. He said the car was in great shape overall and performed the following:

* Flush Coolant (Toyota red antifreeze)
* Drain/Fill Transmission Fluid
* Clean/Replace Front Brake Pads & Rotors (OEM parts used)
* Clean/Adjust Rear Brakes (Hand brake works much better now!)
* Replace Spark Plugs (NGK Plugs)
* Replaced ALL Lug Nuts (distorted!)

He charged a total of $577, which includes parts, labor and tax. Is this a reasonable rate?

He also said that the differential & power steering fluid was fine. The lug nuts were all distorted, which cost me extra $50. I've had a similar issue before from another incident which cost me $271. This is the last time I will be taking my car to sears for tire rotation. I bought my tires there so it is free, but it really cost me $321 total in the end. I hear Costco hand tightens them, so I will take my car there in the future.

I was originally going to just get the transmission, differential, coolant, steering fluids flushed for $250 but figured to just get everything needed done at once.

Overall, what do you guys think about the rates? Is there anything else he should have done?

Thanks!

That price seems about right to me. It's worth a little more to have a mechanic that knows what they are doing IMHO.

Sounds fine. But what i do is take my uncle along with me if for whatever reason he cant service my car. "Some" places will say "insert fake name" needed replacing, trying to leech more money out of you.
