interior lights and door locks not working

hello all,
i'm new here so bare with me. i have an issue with my 2000 camry ce. my interior lights on the dashboard and the dome light don't go on and my door locks dont' work. what could be the casue of this. i also noticed that my car alarm isn't working either. could these all be tied together? please help

Start by checking all your fuses. You have a fuse block on the dashboard behind the coin tray. Remove the coin tray and you will see that fuse block. There is another fuse block in the engine compartment along the driver's side fender. I would try the fuse block in the car first.

thank you, mike i got the dash lights to work, i had a blown 7.5 amp fuse. i still have a problem with the dome light and the door locks. could this be a cause of the alarm?

You could still have another blown fuse. Check further for blown fuses. The alarm may also have a separate inline fuse, if it is an aftermarket alarm. If so, look at the alarm wiring itself under the dash and also under the hood. If you can't easily find it, contact the alarm munufacturer for it's location.

Dome light fuse, definitely for the dome light and power locks (when mine blew, neither of these worked either)
My alarm was tied into the power lock system, so when that dome light fuse blew, the alarm stopped working correctly as well.

the dome light fuse is under the hood fuse box. Check the manual and diagram in the fuse box. I believe it is something around a 2.5 - 7.5 amp fuse. I forgot however.
