3rd Generation No master key [HELP]

My 1994 camry recently got broken into from the passenger door handle (seems like whoever did it forced it out a little, my guess is they only need a tiny gap just to swist the key lock, can't believe it's this easy to break into a camry), I want to disable the trunk lever inside the car, however, I can't seem to turn the key to the left on the trunk, and this key does not lock up the glove compartment either, which makes me believe this is a valet key I got from the used dealer when I bought it, I asked the sales if this was the only key given to them and he told me yes.

Now my question is, is there any way of getting a master key for my camry without chaning the locks n' all?

Also, is there any way to reinforce the door handle to make it more difficult to break in? (as in less easier to force it out of the door itself)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you.

Since it;s Canada, I'll say $15. The key in the US is between $8-$12, depending on dealer. If your not the actual owner of the car (on the registration), you may not be able to have it made. Delaers are supposed to verify your the owner, but sometimes don't.

I recently copied a key from a messed up copied one from previouse owner, tried to lock the glove compartment and trunk buy it wouldn't; i went back tot he locksmith and he too a look at it and he applied a little force in reps of locking and unlocking it; i was scared the key was gonna break if i did that myself and another thing is locksmith can be assurance if it breaks while he/she is doing it. but all and all worked on glove compartment and trunk, right now its getting used to the new key. But it is 3x easier to lock/opening it than previouse.

I just got the new master key for my 94' Camry from the auto mall Toyota dealer, and indeed, they asked me if I am the owner, which I am in a way, but the car I have it under my mother's name for the fact that she's got 43% discount on the insurance, so I ended up taking her with me afterward and have the master key cut out for me

and it's $5.** CDN (didn't bother try to remember the exact amount), works perfect, now I can lock up the glove compartment and the trunk.

One thing I did notice though is my car's rpm... with the valet key it seems to be less stable, alot of times when I am waiting for the red light, it'll go under 900rpm (something like 880~890rpm, which would make the car shake, but with the master key I just got, it seems to be stable at 900rpm for the whole time, gonna keep an eye on that in the future to find out if it's just coincidence or it's really doing what it seems to be doing.

Just a weird coincidence. The car SHOULD actually idle around 700RPM's +/- 50 or so.

Are you sure? because sometimes in the cold morning, when I start up the car, the rpm would start from 600~700rpm then go back up to 900rpm, when it is around 600rpm~700rpm it felt like it's going to stop running, what's more, when I drive my company's Mazda3, it also stays at 900rpm.

Or I mistaken it as 900rpm??? it stays on the line below "1"x1000r/min...

Interesting. I have a '92 and have just thought I am missing a second key of some sort so I can't lock the glove compartment. So if I'm reading this right, my key I use now SHOULD lock/unlock it? as well as my trunk lock should turn to the left, not just to the right? So I only have valet keys for my vehicle? or does this not effect my year?
I've never had an issue with my trunk at all, or the open lever inside, but I don't llike the fact I can't lock my glove compartment at all.

I also use the original toyota valet key everyday.

I have my master Toyota key new in its packaging. Never used no scratches. I guess the previous owner never used the master key.

92 camry btw

Will have to see a dealership in the TO area that won't charge an arm and a leg for a master then. I hate not being able to lock up my glovebox.
