Jack and Jack Stand Positioning for Gen 3/3.5

I know this has been posted before, but I searched and couldn't find the answer/pics I was looking for. Maybe this is or should be in the DIY somewhere.

For a gen3/3.5, where is the best place to position a hydraulic jack for getting the jack stands under the car , and where are the best positions for the jack stands themselves?

I've seen pics with the jack stands positioned under the pinch weld where the scissor jack goes when changing a tire, but is that the best place for them when you're doing major work?

Like I said, I know somebody posted some pics on this subject sometime, but I can't find them.

Thanks for any help.

haha, this was posted by me back when i was a little bit more of a noob (now im just a semi-noob )

jack (be it floor or scissor) on the marked factory jackpoints ...

many will place jackstands on the pinch welds, however i dont like mine to bend, so for the front i place them on the frame rails themselves, since my jackstands have a flat top surface (they are Craftsman 2 1/4 ton stands)

there are also front and rear center jacking/stand points, but im not sure where those are ... im sure someone will post a picture tho

If you look under the car you will see a dimple protruding downward in the center of both the front and back of the car. That's where you position the hydraulic floor jack to jack up the whole front or rear of the car.
