can you help identify a part?
Unfamiliar with 'yota's, trying to help a friend. 97 Camry 2.2 (Californian I think). Vacuum hose running from top of throttle body (just before throttle plate) along the air duct connects to the mystery part just to the rear of the battery. Part has two hose connections and an electrical connector, otherwise part is squarish and held onto a bracket with single bolt. When engine running there is a very noticable pulse in the hose to the TB and a switching noise coming from the part body. Sorry, no photo. Cheers.
