Question Avalon / Camry question

I asked this in the avalon forum, but felt i would get better info on the camry forum.

Does anyone know the part number / where to get the windshield washer reservior pump? my reservoir is fine, but my pump quit on me the other day. i have no need for a whole new reservoir, but would like to find out what other cars it was used on. i strongly suspect it remained the same for many years and is the same on camrys and even corollas.

thanks for the help guys

Go to the scrapyard dude!

It's like a car parts goldmine...especially the stuff you can't order alone or cost a fortune at the dealer.

Gen 3 have started to spawn at my local scrapper so i'm pretty happy.

+1 on CamryWilly's comment.

Go looking for greasy gold. I recommend a pick-your-part place, where you maybe pay a buck to get in the lot and they search your toolbox on the way out. The one around here you would likely pay $5 or less.

first check at the salvage yards and then try the dealership.

Lightbulb

I have been to salvage yards, I was even at one the day before i found out it quit on me with my best friend just looking for parts, irony much? I know the vast riches that they hold, many a part has found its way back into my toyotas in the past.

I wanted to know if anyone knew what years had the same pump/reservoir i dont want to pull one off a 1st or second gen (cause i havent seen too many 3rd and 4ths in the junkyards i have been too) and have it not fit. was it the same on the solaras? or even the pickups? anyone know?

there isnt going to be a big difference, i know, but my concern is it popping back into place so it doesnt start leaking or falling off/out.
